ABOUT US:
We’re traveling full time, living on our own terms and showing you the up-close-and-personal details of us figuring it out along the way. Sometimes it’s about navigating big, life-altering decisions. Sometimes it’s about navigating the seemingly lawless free-for-all that is driving in Hanoi. It’s moments of triumph and moments of panic. The good, the bad, the ugly – and most importantly, the real and real funny.

We’re not here to tell you “how it’s done.” Just how we’ve done it. And that whatever it is that’s calling you – the way you’ll do it is much more attainable than it may seem. We believe the world’s a more interesting place when people reject convention in favor of what they actually care about. This is us putting that idea to the test – one budget spreadsheet, RV renovation and mountain-peak drone video at a time.

  1. To TIM-FIN the rear fla,,,
p of the poncho, always tuck it under your butt, sit on it,the wind blowing that rear flap into the rear wheel,it pull you down the street,in front of the big truck, you are toasted,be careful with the poncho on bike,…live it up

  2. Wonderful trip!
FYI, note that just say "xin chao" (xin chào) in the North and central north of Vietnam. When in the South and central south, better just say "chao" (chào) or for better "chào anh" to an older gent/man , "chào chị" to an older lady/woman, "chào em" to a younger gent/man or lady/woman…".

  3. Highway babies are kids left at home when parents are away working in the fields. One older sibling, usually at tender working ages of 5 or 6, are tasked with taking care of the younger ones. Some kids even tends their family cows or buffalo while babysitting their younger siblings. This communist country doent have subsidized Pre K schools or subsidized secondary schools.

  4. Thank you for your video. I am a Vietnamese living in the U.S. I was born and grew up in South Vietnam and have never been to North Vietnam. Because of videos like your I know more about my country.
