Out there on the far horizons of YouTube, there is a strange little video with no description, no annotations, and seemingly no real purpose. However if you happen to be recommended it by the youtube algorithm, you’ll be welcomed by an ethereal soundtrack, a strange feeling of familiarity, and a comment section unlike anything you’ve ever seen. This is the story of one of the most bizarre hidden webpages on youtube and the psychology behind the uniquely human stories left behind in the comments. This is the psychology of the internet checkpoint.

  1. Hey guys! For those of you asking why I didn’t link to the original video in the description, it’s to preserve the integrity of checkpoint. It’s not meant to be searched for or linked to, it’s meant to be stumbled upon. It finds you.

Can you technically search for it based on screenshots from my video? Yes. (I probably should have blurred stuff in hindsight.) But if you haven’t been there before, I promise it’ll mean so much more to you if you find it spontaneously.

    Thanks for watching ❤️

  2. I’m not even subscribed to you and yet I keep falling down the rabbit hole of your videos
…I might have to succumb and subscribe after over 5 hours of your videos and replaying many of them

  3. This is all an experiment. Your brain is being tampered with to project a false reality and you've always had questions whether it's real or not.
